Senior Pastor
My beautiful wife and I have pastored the Lincoln Church of God for 30 years now. We started pastoring here when I was just 29 years old, and I’m certain that no one is doing the math, but that puts me at 59 years old. God has blessed us tremendously here at this church, we love serving this community and trying to meet the needs of the people. Dreama and I both grew up in this area and it has always been home, we love it here…this church is our life’s work. We only pastored one other church before God called us to plant a church. We started in the living room of our house and God just continued to open doors for us.

We were blessed with our first beautiful daughter when I was 20 years old, Jessica Nichole Wilson. Jessica was born with birth defects that ultimately caused her death at the age of 27. She was so instrumental in my spiritual walk with the Lord, that I would be amiss if I didn’t mention her influence on my ministry. Through her lifetime of sickness, I had to quickly learn to lean not on my own understanding but to fully rely on God. She made me a better person, and certainly helped strengthen my prayer life.

We were blessed with our second child when I was 29 years old, Jeremy Woodrow Wilson. He and his wife, Ashley, serve as the youth pastors of the church and they play music for our Praise Team. They have given us 3 wonderful grandsons Cooper, Coy, and Marshall. Jeremy has been in church his whole life, and even played baby Jesus in a church Christmas play at just 11 days old.

Our third blessing came when I was 32 years old (and she still has me wrapped around her little finger), my baby girl Whitney Faith Miller. She was first taken to church when she was 3 days old. She teaches our nursery class, which is convenient, as her and her husband Daniel have recently gave birth to our 4th grandson Sawyer Cole. Daniel is a gifted musician; he plays music in church and sometimes travels with a group.

Dreama and I have been richly blessed with a beautiful family that all love the Lord and heavily involved in the church. Dreama, my lovely bride, is the backbone of this family and church. She truly is the best person I know. She teaches all classes from nursery to adults, she runs our ladies ministry, makes visits, sees to the needs of widows, and much more. She has helped my ministry become what it is today.

We are proud to be serving you at Lincoln Church of God. We have attended here since May 2006. Prior to this, we both attended Branchland United Baptist Church, where we were members for several years and I served as prayer meeting leader and teen Sunday School teacher. Misty and I have two wonderful kids, Derek and Chloe, whom are the highlights of our lives. We have lived in Lincoln County our entire lives and we both graduated from Guyan Valley High School.
We answered the call to enter the ministry shortly after we started attending at Lincoln Church of God. Misty and I graduated from CAMS and I received my Exhorter's license in June 2012. We soon entered into the MIP program and I received my Ordained Minister's license in December 2013. I plan to test for Ordained Bishop later in 2017.
Misty and I love attending the Lincoln Church of God, as do our children. We are very family oriented and love spending time together outdoors. We consider our church to be part of our extended family and look forward to the opportunities to be together.
We, along with our pastor, youth pastor and other leaders, are committed to preaching and teaching the unadulterated word of God and look forward to serving you soon.
Jeremy & Ashley
Youth Pastors
We are in our early thirties and have both been in church our entire lives. Ashley's home church was Greenup First Baptist in Kentucky and I am a thoroughbred pentecostal. I was 6 months old when this very church organized in 1987.
We have been married for 3 years and have 3 handsome boys...Cooper, Coy, and Marshall. Ashley is the 8th grade math teacher at Guyan Valley Middle School and I am a Sr. Warehouse Tech. at Marathon Petroleum in Catlettsburg, KY.

We have just recently completed the Ministerial Intern Program and have been placed as the Youth Pastors at LCOG City On A Hill. We are grateful to have been given this opportunity and are excited to see what the future has for The Next Chapter.

We want to do our very best at serving our church and by doing so, serve the youth of this community. We hope to create a fun, loving, and Christ centered environment for our youth to get connected. We want to see them Grow, Love, Obey, Witness, and Serve.
